Case of Interest

A 34-year-old man died after a tragic accident on board a ship berthed at the Kings Wharf yesterday afternoon.

Work of offloading vehicles was being conducted onboard the vessel, and it is alleged that the 50-year-old suspect whilst driving a vehicle out of the vessel, lost control, whereby he bumped the victim.

Both were rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital whereby the victim was pronounced dead on arrival.

The suspect remains admitted in critical condition as investigations continue.
