The Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration, Hon. Pio Tikoduadua visit the Eastern Division Officers.

The Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration Honourable Pio Tikoduadua thanked the officers in the Eastern Division for faithfully conducting their duties considering some challenges faced with aging infrastructure and vast area of operations.

The Honourable Minister began his tour at the nearly completed Nakasi Police Station where he also met the Eastern Division Command group led by the Divisional Police Commander East Senior Superintendent of Police Wate Vocevoce.

He also visited the Nausori Police Station, Eastern Division Headquarters, Vunidawa Police Station and the Sawani, Muaniweni, Naqali and Wainibokasi Community Posts.

Hon. Tikoduadua reiterated Government's intention of "brining back Blue" in entrusting Police to conduct their work without bias and according to the law.

The Honourable Minister held a talanoa session at the Vunidawa Police Station where Senior government officials were also present.
