Drugs Awareness at Nasekula District School

Team Delailabasa Community Post consisting of Police Constable Shain and PC Ilisapeci were at Nasekula District School to talk about the dangers of illicit drugs, bullying, road safety and general behavioural issues concerning students.

Students were also reminded to not talk to strangers and if in need of help, to tell their teacher or someone they trust.

A total of 140 students attend the school.

We urge parents and guardians to continue talking to their children and have regular discussions where they feel safe to share their problems.

By having these regular 'talanoa' sessions, children will open up, feeling free to share issues they may be facing in schools or with their peers.
