PSRU Parade

Officers at the Police Special Response Unit (PSRU) today held their Force Parade where the Commanding Officer Unit (CO/PSRU) Acting Senior Superintendent of Police (A/SSP) Luke Rogoyawa used the opportunity to thank the officers for their efforts and achievements in 2022.

A/SSP Rogoyawa said the Parade was the ideal time to reflect on what was achieved and identify shortfalls and grey areas and restrategize on how to improve in 2023.

Last year PSRU teams were pushed forward throughout the country to assist with drug operations, special security detail, maritime and throughout the various phases of the conduct of the National General Elections.

The Commanding Officer said the 2022 policing year for them was challenging and demanding, and despite some hurdles faced, there were many success stories through their perseverance and determination.

A/SSP Rogoyawa also thanked the officers' families for their support as they were vital towards the success of their policing careers.
