The New Zealand High Commission, Suva, Fiji Commissioner to Fiji Her Excellency Charlotte Darlow while officiating the 2022 Fiji Police Women Excellence Awards night acknowledged the contribution of women police officers in what is deemed a demanding and challenging profession and their ability to balance their roles as mothers.
In congratulating the women officers, the New Zealand High Commissioner said women provide a different dimension to policing as they were also mothers and as leaders in their own right it was an achievement that all should be proud of.
Her Excellency said the partnership between the Fiji Police and New Zealand Police continued to grow in strength, and it was an honour for the NZ Police to have been part of the Awards build up and ceremony with their Australian Federal Police comrades through the participation of NZ Police Liaison Officer Margo Hall who has been working with the FPF under the Fiji Police Partnership Program.
