Case of Interest

Valelevu Police are investigating a case of infanticide following the discovery of the body of a new born baby girl at Veiraisi Settlement yesterday.

The discovery was made by a 42-year old woman who was returning from a fishing trip.

She recovered the victim’s body and took her home and reported the matter to Police.

Investigations continue.
