PROGRESS REPORT

The body of the 8-year-old boy who was swept away in a flooded drain in Tacirua yesterday afternoon has been recovered by a joint team consisting of officers from the Police Special Response Unit and Samabula Police.

The team recovered the victim’s body from the mouth of the Samabula River.

Investigations continue.
