Specialized Training

Vinaka vakalevu to the Australian Institute of Police Management for the opportunity provided to the Fiji Police Force to attend the United Nations SPECIALISED TRAINING MATERIAL Training of Trainers facilitated by the United States Government currently underway in Australia.

Fiji Police participants are Superintendent of Police (SP) Ruci Nasemira who is an accredited UN Selection Assistant and Assessment Team Instructor and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mohammed Yunus the Officer in Charge of the Humanitarian & Emergency Support Unit.

The two officers make up the 23 participants from 11 countries attending the training with the objective to support and improve United Nations Police performance, capabilities, mindsets and accountability.

Following the training the knowledge gained is aimed at allowing for better preparation of UN Police officers for the challenges they will face once deployed.
