Donation to Support Students


The Ramcharitmanas Global Fiji, together with Tuirara Kams Feeder Road Crime Prevention Committee (CPC), and Tuirara Community Post personnel, opened their New Year celebration with donations of school equipments including school bags, school uniforms and school stationeries for students at the Kams Feeder Road in Tuirara.

The funding for the donation was organized by the Ramcharitmanas Global organization, an international organization, dedicated to teaching youths on Hindu literature.

The National Leader and Counselor for Ramcharitmanas Global Fiji Mr Avinesh Chand said it was important for youths of their Community to see the support shown by Police Officers serving in their Community.

"Having the Post Officer for Tuirara Community Post and Colo I Suva Community Post, with us during this occasion will make a positive impression on our youths, and these youths are aspiring leaders of Fiji, some of them are aspiring Police officers as well in years to come", said Mr Avinesh.

The Chairman of the Tuirara Kams Rd CPC Mr Anand Prakash said his Committee would be engaging youths in activities.

Youths receiving the school donations were from the Primary School, Secondary School and Tertiary Level.

Post Officer Tuirara Community Post, Police Constable Eparama Diva, and the former Post Officer who is now the Post Officer for Colo I Suva Community Post, Corporal Isireli Batibasaga were present during the handing over.
