Drowning Incident

A 21-year old student is believed to be the country's latest drowning victim.

The victim was swimming with his family yesterday afternoon at the Devodara Picnic Spot, Savusavu when the incident occurred.

Attempts made to revive him proved futile.

A post mortem will be conducted to confirm the victim’s cause of death as investigations continue.
