Latest Drowning Case

A 16-year old boy is alleged to be the country’s latest drowning victim.

The victim was swimming with his family near Sun City Beach, Uciwai, Nadi when he was allegedly swept away by strong current.

The incident occurred after 3pm.

His body was later recovered after 6pm.

Investigations continue.
