Community Visitations

Business and farming visitations were the order of the day yesterday and will continue today throughout Fiji, as police officers reach out to their communities in a bid to enhance crime prevention efforts.

Chief Operations Officer (COO) Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abdul Khan said, “As we draw nearer to Christmas, we anticipate the usual last minute rush, and that’s when complacency creeps in, which impacts safety and security”.

ACP Khan added, “Our main intent this festive season, develop positive partnerships.

Its important for us to continuously work on expanding these partnerships for safer communities".

The Chief Operations Officer has also acknowledged members of the public and community leaders for accommodating the visitations.
