Meet K9 RUGGA

MEET K9 Rugga and handler Police Constable Filipe Vocea based at the Raralevu Police K9 Unit.

The two were recently involved in the successful recovery of items allegedly stolen from Navatuvula Village yesterday.

A report was received from the 60-year old complainant that someone had stolen mats and masi (tapa) from his house.

PC Filipe and K9 Rugga were deployed where they tracked the suspect towards near the Sawani river and to a location where they found a car abandoned on the side of the road and the stolen items inside the vehicle.

The suspect was arrested shortly after.
