IPPOS PROGRAM CLOSING

The United States Ambassador to Fiji Her Excellency Marie Damour closed the regional International Police Peacekeeping Operations Support (IPPOS) Program reaffirming the U.S. Embassy Suva support to Fiji and the region.

Ambassador, Ms. Damour while delivering her closing remarks to participants from the #FijiPolice Kiribati Police Service, RSIPF , Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services and Nauru Police Force said the U.S. Government is committed to enhancing the Pacific region's intent of increasing its contribution to UN missions abroad.

The IPPOS training was facilitated by the U.S. Government’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Bureau and was aimed at providing the participants with an overview of the UN Policing System, UN Police Strategic Guidance Framework, UN Police Training Architecture and structure and content of key courses training courses.
