"Resilience Lami"

Stakeholders, community leaders, Police and students in the Lami area gathered on Friday to strengthen Duavata Community Policing partnerships with the theme “Resilience Lami”.

The intent of the gathering was to strengthen working relations between stakeholders and members of the community ahead of the Festive season.

Awareness sessions were also conducted by the Cybercrime and Sexual Offences Unit.

Other stakeholders present include officials from the Ministry of Fisheries, Ministry of Health and National Fire Authority.

Community partnerships are vital in addressing crime, and officers based at the Lami Police Station have reached out to their communities to foster enhanced networking towards building safer communities.
