HQ wins police wives volleyball tourney

The Headquarters Police Wives Volleyball Team proved too powerful for the Western Police Wives Volleyball Team after they defeated them in 2 straight sets, of a 25 game point match, in today’s finals of the Police Wives Volleyball Tournament at Police Special Response Unit (PSRU), Nasinu.

The HQ team, laced with former women national volley rep, in the likes of Saiminili Moli and other Police Women’s Volleyball reps, did not mince their game style to clinch their victory, with huge point’s margin.

HQ wives are now the new champions of the tournament, after the reigning champions from 2019, Southern Division, was defeated by the PSRU wives team in the quarter finals.

PSRU later succumbed to a fiery Western brigade in the semi-finals, however, the Western team were simply outclassed, by their HQ counterparts in the final showdown.

Following this year’s Police Wives Volleyball Tournament, the Fiji Police Force is expected to field a strong wives volleyball team at this year’s Sukuna Bowl Competitions.
