Rain fails to dampen Police wives spirit

Rain failed to spoil the spirits of Police Wives as they gathered for their annual meet this morning at the Police Special Response Unit (PSRU) in Nasinu.

The 2-Day-Tournament was officially opened by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Itendra Nair who welcomed all the ladies and acknowledged those who came from the outer Islands.

“It is a pleasure to see all of you in high spirits this morning and despite the rain you still look very lively and colorful in your sports uniform,” said DCP Nair.

The Tournament brings together Police Wives from all Police Stations in Fiji and they are representing their respective Policing Divisions.

This annual meet is a platform of selecting representatives for the Police Wives Volleyball and Netball Tournament at the Ratu Sukuna Bowl Tournament next month.
