HPS Program

Officers based at the Northern Divisional Command & Control Centre (NDCCC) earlier this week took time out to assist teachers and students of Batinikama College with their Health-Promoting School(HPS) program.

A Health-Promoting School(HPS) program, targets the health and well-being of its students, staff and community.

It was introduced 27 years ago by the WHO, UNESCO & UNICEF. Members of the NDCCC led by OC/Command, IP George Lagi cleared the land & planted cassava followed by a wellness program.
