The week-long Restorative Justice Workshop facilitated by the Pacific Centre for Peacebuilding for officers in the Northern Division came to an end with the Director Community Policing Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana reiterating the importance of keeping an open mind about proactive policing strategies.
"The Pacific Centre for Peacebuilding sets out to reduce, prevent and transform violence and conflict through restorative justice and community peacebuilding by embracing a culture of peace, justice and non-violence, and by working together, we can learn and adopt best practices that can assist us, in our line of work".
"With the support of PCP we are able to be better moderators, better listeners, and better communicators".
The workshop conducted at the Labasa Training Room ended on Friday.
