The late Mrs Merewalesi Raibiriki, a civilian member of the Fiji Police Force, fondly remembered as a hardworking and caring member of the organisation, was laid to rest at the Lovonilase Burial Grounds in Suva this morning.
The late Mrs Raibiriki joined the organisation on the 1st of March, 2017 and had been posted to the Chief Operations Officer’s Office till the time of her untimely passing on the 26th of August, 2022.
The Fiji Police delegation to pay their last respects to the family of their fallen comrade in Caubati was led by the Acting Commissioner of Police Itendra Nair, where her family and loved ones had gathered to mourn the passing of a woman described as someone who always had time for her family and was always looking out for the best interest of others.
The funeral was also attended by former and now retired Chief Operations Officers as we as retired officers who were based with various Operations Units.
She was 53 years old at the time of her death.
