Case of Interest

The body of a man was retrieved from waters near Komave, Nadroga last night.

The victim, who was later identified as a villager from Komave Village, was reported to have gone fishing alone earlier in the day.

Later in the evening, a witness heard someone shouting for help, and a search was conducted, and shortly after the victim’s body was found.

A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain cause of death as investigations continue.
