Funeral of Late Sergeant Lew


The late Sergeant Theodore Lew who was called to eternal rest last Sunday was farewelled today by senior members of the Fiji Police Force, Judiciary, family and loved ones at the Kalivari Methodist Church in Lautoka.

The Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho led the Fiji Police delegation in presenting their i-reguregu to the family of the late Sergeant who had served 16-years as a member of the organization before he was called to eternal rest on the 24th of July at the Lautoka Hospital.

The late officer joined the organization in 2005 and had served in various Units in both the Northern and Western Divisions in the Highway, Internal Affairs and Prosecutions where he spent the majority of his policing career.

Described as a loyal, dedicated, friendly and honest officer, the late Sgt Lew was the eldest of six children and was fondly remembered for his personality which was reflected in the turnout at the officer's Homecoming Service today.

The late officer is survived by his wife and four children. Till that glorious morning. Moce mada Sergeant.
