Funeral of Late Sergeant Gerry

The late Sergeant Gerry Elmo McGoon was today laid to rest at the Balawa Cemetry in Lautoka.

The funeral today followed strict Covid-19 Restrictions and Ministry of Health and Corrections officials were there to ensure compliance.

Sgt Gerry passed away at his home in Toorak on the 7th of this month at the age of 50.

Chief Administration Officer (CAO) Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Juki Fong led the Police delegation today.

The late Sgt Gerry is originally from Levuka and was enlisted in the Force in 1997.

He was currently serving in Totogo Police Station and has also served in Western Division.

Sgt Gerry spent most of his career at the Uniform Branch performing general police duties.

He is survived by his wife Ranadi and six children.
