Donation by Korean Community in Fiji


“This donation is a token of appreciation and gratitude from the Korean Community in Fiji for the hard work conducted by Fiji Police Force in the COVID 19 situation’.

Words of appreciation shared by the President of the Korean Association in Fiji, Mr Chang-han Cheong as he handed over fifteen cartons containing 45,000 surgical masks to the Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu yesterday at the Fiji Police Headquarters in Suva.

Mr Cheong who was accompanied by Mr Sandong Lee from the Korean Embassy said the Korean Association is optimistic that Fiji will win the battle against the dreaded COVID-19 virus.

“We can see police officers patrol going around every community and district for the public safety every day and night”.

“We are really thankful for their devoted efforts and contribution and hope Fiji gets through this difficult situation and back to normal very soon and back to normal very soon with vigorous economic activity in Fiji”.

Acting Commissioner Tudravu thanked the Korean Association for their donation adding the FPF remained committed to the whole of Government approach in battling COVID-19 so that we can return to some form of normalcy.
