Case of Interest
A man in his 50s died following an accident in Nabukelevu, Serua yesterday afternoon.
The victim from Tomuka, Lautoka was travelling in a truck loaded with logs with four others when they experienced difficulties due to slippery road conditions.
The victim with four others jumped onto the back of the truck.
As the truck started to roll back, the victim jumped from the back of the tray when he allegedly hit his head on a log.
He was rushed to the Korovisilou Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations continue.
