Villagers show Support

The Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has acknowledged the support and effort made by the respective villagers and communities in ensuring Health restrictions are followed.

“It’s quite inspiring to see that a lot of villages and settlements set up their tent and have all the testing equipment ready and it shows how serious they are about this pandemic.”

While acknowledging the support made at the same time encouraging others to do the same and restrict people from unnecessary movement within their boundaries.

Meanwhile, forty officers were deployed to Rakiraki yesterday led by the Deputy Director of Operations Superintendent of Police [SP] Saimoni Qasi and were quite amazed to see the support provided by Tui Nalawa and his people concerning COVID-19 restrictions.
