Western dedication Service

The Western Division Police held their divisional Parade and dedication service yesterday (Wednesday, 20th January, 2021).

The early morning parade was held at the Churchill Park main ground while immediately after, the dedication service was at the Namoli Village Methodist Church.

Divisional Police Commander, West (DPC/W) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sami Surend thanked all officers on Parade on the work done in 2020.

He reminded everyone about the challenges the organization faced during the COVID 19 pandemic especially when the division recorded the first case in the country.

“That is all history now and there are still more rooms for improvement. Now let us focus on 2021 and the task ahead,” said SSP Surend.

Customer service and Police officers attitude towards work was the main thing the Divisional Commander elaborated on, stating that these two areas needed improvement.

If officers improve on these two issues, SSP Surend believes the year 2021 should be a great year for the Western Division.
