The Archbishop of Polynesia and the Anglican Church Pledge Support

The Archbishop of Polynesia and the head of the Anglican Church in Fiji and the Pacific has assured the Fiji Police Force of its continuous support towards all community policing efforts.

Archbishop Fereimi Cama told Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu during his courtesy visit that the Church has clear guidelines and a zero-tolerance policy on matters concerning their members should they fall on the wrong side of the law.

He adds the Church has always been supportive of the work of law enforcement and actively engages in strengthening working partnerships not only in Fiji but across the Pacific region.

Archbishop Cama says the Church is equally concerned with the reports of crimes against women and children and vows to incorporate awareness messages through their programs in support of Policing efforts in reducing crimes across Fiji.
