Thirty-four arrests were recorded for breach of curfew over the last 48hours.
For the first 24hour period from Thursday 11pm to Friday 4am – twelve arrests were recorded.
The Southern Division recorded five reports, East four cases and Central three.
All arrests made were linked to alcohol.
Four men arrested in the Eastern Division are also being investigated for a case of damaging property as they allegedly stoned a police vehicle conveying two officers who were attending to a report of causing trouble in Taulevu Village, Naitasiri.
In the Southern Division four men were arrested near Wailoku as they were all drunk and were found attempting to hide in a drain.
From 11pm last night to 4am this morning, twenty-two arrests were recorded with the Western Division recording twelve cases.
The Southern Division recorded eight cases while the Eastern Division recorded two cases.
Twenty-one of the reported cases involved those who were heavily intoxicated during their time of arrest.
Again we reiterate the need to drink responsibly and avoid being caught out during curfew.
