Police Women's Advisory Network meeting


The first Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Women's Advisory Network (WAN) group meeting was conducted this week via virtual conferencing under the Chairmanship of the Director Community Policing Senior Superintendent of Police Bereta Naisua.

Discussions revolved around the endorsement of the PICP Constitution proposed by the newly appointed Chair on behalf of WAN to the PICP Chiefs and presentations from members of the Forum on how they were engaging with their WAN members consisting of Inspectorate officers and above in their respective organization.

Members of WAN forum also discussed means of communication considering the COVID-19 pandemic as well as challenges faced.
