Forty-nine arrests for breach of curfew restrictions were recorded over the last 48hour period.
From Friday 11pm to Saturday 4am, twenty-three cases were recorded, with the Western Division recording twelve cases, East six cases and South five.
The arrests recorded in the Western Division were made in Tavua, Ba, Sabeto and Nadi.
Of the five arrests made in Tavua, three were women who were drunk and were walking along the Lausa Feeder Road.
The twenty-six arrests made from 11pm Saturday till 4am this morning involved twenty arrests in the Western Division, four cases in the East and two in the South.
Seven arrests recorded in Lautoka involved three women and four men who were drunk and involved in a brawl.
Three men arrested in Ba were involved in a motor vehicle accident and all were drunk during their time of arrest.
The two arrests recorded in the Southern Division were reported in Navua and Nasinu and the two men were also drunk.
The four men arrested in the Eastern Division were all drunk and found moving around in Nausori Town.
