The Divisional Police Commander South Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP) Filipe Jitoko reminded officers based in the Southern Division to focus on improving themselves and their work, and not to worry about things that don’t concern them.
"Support each other and stop focusing on things that don’t concern your line of work and things you don’t have the authority to change".
"Focus on improving yourself, improving your team and improving service delivery in our Division".
It was a significant Parade also as most of the Women officers played a leading role in the conduct of the Parade.
SSP Jitoko while acknowledging policing efforts over the first six months of 2020, also reminded senior officers and those holding managerial posts to lead by example.
"Don’t be the last one in and the first one out every day, you should be the first one in and the last one out – and checking on the men under your command frequently".
"Know your officers – be a good leader that inspires – but you can't be an inspiration if you’re an absent manager or leader".
