House Fire in Nakasi

A three-bedroom home belonging to a 66-year-old businessman was completely destroyed in a fire last night.

The house is located at JP Maharaj Road in Nakasi.

The fire is believed to have started from the victim's van which was parked in the garage, however this is subject to the findings of the National Fire Authority investigations.

The cost of damage to the property is estimated to be worth more than half a million dollars.

Investigations continue.
