COVID 19 [120] RELEASE


Over the last 48 hours, ten people were arrested for breach of curfew restrictions.

Two cases were reported in the Western and Southern Divisions between Sunday and Monday morning.

And another eight people were arrested in the last 24 hours with the Western Division recording five cases, South recorded two cases while the Eastern Division recorded one case.

Four of the five arrests recorded in the Western Division were made in Sigatoka - whereby three men were found to be drunk and disorderly while a 52year old farmer finds himself facing an additional charge of trespass.

The fifth arrest was made in Nadi involving a 24year old man who was found walking along the Kerebula tram line.
