Alcohol continues to be linked to breach of curfew arrests as majority of those arrested between 11-pm to 4-am this morning were found drunk.
Of the thirty -Nine [39] cases recorded last night the Western Division recorded sixteen [16] arrests including eight people who were found drunk.
Of the eight, seven were found intoxicated inside a billion shop at Lautoka while a 25- year -old security was found drunk in the Nadi area.
Two people were arrested while on their way to buy kava along the Korovuto area in Nadi while four minivan drivers were arrested from the minivan stand in Lautoka.
A 44 -year old man was found driving without a valid pass at the Nadi area while a 24 -year old man was found loitering along the Tavua area.
All ten cases recorded in the Eastern Division are in relation to alcohol including a juvenile who was found with three others at the Nausori town area.
Eight cases were recorded in the Southern Division including five people who were found drunk at the Valelevu, Kinoya, Vatuwaqa, and the Navua area while three people were found loitering at the Tacirua, Vatuwaqa and the Narere area.
The Northern Division recorded three cases where all were found drunk at the Labasa town area while two others found intoxicated in the Central Division.
