Drug Operations Continue

The continuation of drug raid operation in Kadavu with the assistance of the drone capability has again resulted in the seizure of more green plants believed to be illicit drugs.

The Southern Division Drug Team had uprooted more than 4000 green plants believed to be marijuana this week from a farm located at Gasele village weighing more than 200 kilograms with an estimated value of more than $12 million.

Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho has acknowledged the support from members of the public and has assured that all information received which successfully led to the drug raid operation will be treated confidentially.
