The Fiji Police Force has grown consolidated since 2012 in terms of its regional and international exposure and the need for senior officers who are currently holding managerial positions including the newly cadet officers to familiarize themselves with that relationship and engagement is vital.
More than forty officers were roped in at the Fiji Police Academy this week together with an invitation extended to local external partners to share how the institution has gone so far in terms of engagement and relationship with their country.
While some of these participants have been directly involved in regional and international engagement in several ways, the organization believes that those holding managerial positions need to be involved as some of them will be the ones taking the institution forward in terms of regional and international exposure.
