COVID-19 RELEASE (76)

Twenty-eight (28) arrests were made over the last 24hours for breach of COVID-19 restrictions including 15 people who were found playing touch rugby in the Central area of operation.

The Central Division recorded sixteen cases, one for breach of curfew and 15 for breach of sporting activities.

The fifteen arrested for sporting breach were youths aged between 16 to 28 years of age who were found playing touch on a school ground located off Ritova Street.

The Southern Division recorded ten reports of breach of curfew.

The Western Division recorded two cases while the Northern and Eastern Divisions recorded nil cases.
