Woman charged for Drugs

The 60year old woman who was arrested following the discovery of illicit substances during a raid at her home in Lautoka has been charged.

The raid conducted by a team from the Lautoka Police Station at Sulua Street, resulted in the seizure of sealed clear plastics containing white crystals tested positive as methamphetamine. 

The accused has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

Meanwhile the search continues for the owner of the farm where plants believed to be marijuana was uprooted at Namuka Settlement in Sigatoka.
