ALLEGED ATTACK

Police are at the scene of a crime in Kuku Road, Bau, Nausori where a woman and her 14year old daughter were seriously injured after they were allegedly struck with a cane knife.

The 45year old suspect is their father and circumstances surrounding the alleged incident is still unknown at this stage.

Both victims were rushed to the Nausori Health Center where their health status will be known later and the 45year old suspect is currently in Police custody.

Investigations continue.
