ALLEGED RAPE

Samabula Police are investigating a case of alleged rape whereby the victim is an 11year old girl.

The alleged incident occurred on the 7th of this month at the 27year old suspect’s home.

The suspect who is the victim's neighbour and relative had allegedly asked the victim to massage his stomach when he allegedly committed the offence several times.

The victim relayed the incident to her mother the next day whereby a report was lodged at the Samabula Police Station.

The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
