Twenty seven (27) arrests were made in the last 24 hours with breach of sporting activities recording nineteen (19) of the total number of arrests.

The Southern Division recorded 19 cases, eleven (11) for breach of sports and eight (8) for breach of curfew.

Nine (9) people which included six (6) juveniles were arrested in Nadawa for playing soccer while two (2) men were arrested in Valelevu as they were playing touch rugby.

The Central Division recorded eight (8) reports of sporting breach as they were found playing basketball in Nasese.

Six (6) of those arrested were juveniles.

The remaining three Divisions recorded nil cases.
