The investigation into the alleged murder of a 28 year old woman in Naqara, Waima, Naitasiri continues this morning.

The suspect has been brought to the Criminal Investigations Department in Suva for questioning as investigators await the outcome of the post mortem examinations.

FATAL FIRE

Two men are being questioned in relation to the fatal fire in Benau, Labasa which unfortunately claimed the lives of four women.

One of the suspects is 19 while the second suspect is in his 40s and are from the same neighbourhood.

Investigations continue.

ALLEGED RAPE

Investigations regarding the alleged rape of a 2 year old girl continues.

A team of investigators are working around the clock to identify the suspect and will continue to interview family and villagers today.
