Alleged Murder

Investigations are underway following an alleged case of murder in Naqara Village, Waima, Naitasiri.

The alleged incident occurred yesterday afternoon.

The victim a 28 year old woman was allegedly stabbed by her husband following a heated argument.

She was rushed to the Vunidawa Hospital but was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.

The suspect is in custody at the Vunidawa Police Station as investigations continue.
