Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Executive Leadership Team


The Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew recently returned from the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police Executive Leadership Team(ELT) meeting held at the Marriott Hotel in Brisbane, Australia.

Discussions held by the Pacific Chiefs of Police revolved around initiatives for a robust regional approach on Policing, noting the complexity of challenges faced by law enforcement.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the INTERPOL Blue Pacific Project, developed by Fiji, New Zealand and the Australian Federal Police.

The FPF values its membership of the PICP noting how it has evolved over the last 50 years, as well as the excellent regional Policing cooperation efforts through the able assistance of the AFP and New Zealand Police The Acting Commissioner was accompanied by the Director International Relations, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ulaiasi Ravula.
