Annually on the 29th of September, members of the Police Forces commemorate and honour the lives of fallen officers who were called to eternal rest whilst in service.
It is also St Michael's Feast Day the Patron Saint of law enforcement.
Chief Guest at the Remembrance Day Commemoration in Suva was the Minister of Defence, National Security and Policing, Hon. Inia Seruiratu who said,
"To the families of the Police officers we are remembering today, we solemnly recognise the contributions my your families, as we share the loss of your father, mother, sister, brother, aunt and uncle".
This morning the Fiji Police Force honoured the lives of the fifteen (15) members of the organisation called to rest over the last year.
