40 year old in custody for possession of dried leaves believed to be marijuana

A 40 year old unemployed of Raiwaqa is in custody after found in his possession dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The Southern Division Crime Intelligence team raided the suspect’s house over the weekend following a tip off.

The team found 15 parcels of dried leaves wrapped in aluminium foil believed to be marijuana in a shopping bag.

The suspect is in custody awaiting analysis report.
