Fatal Accident

A 6-year-old child died following an unfortunate accident at a timber yard in Vatuwaqa yesterday afternoon.

The child’s father who works as a supervisor, whilst reversing a forklift allegedly bumped his son causing him serious injuries.

The child was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he later passed away.

Investigations are ongoing.
