Nawaka 7s trophy and cash prize presentation to Mr. Rusiate Tudravu

The victorious 33rd Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s Police Blues side and runners up Police White 7s side presented the tournament trophy and cash prize to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu who accepted the spoils on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.

In thanking the two teams, he said the victory was celebrated by all members of the institution and their families, and it boosted the morale of those working hard on operations in Fiji and abroad.

He also cautioned the team management and players on issues of ill-discipline on the field of play, stressing that as enforcers of the law, the same principles of policing should be followed while playing any tournament in that they uphold the rules and laws of rugby at all times.

POLICE Blue walked away $10,000 richer after defeating Police White 31-19 in the cup final of the 33rd Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s on Saturday.
