Three men arrested

Two men are in Police custody while one is admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital after they were arrested for their alleged involvement in an early morning attack against a group of youths in Raiwai.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan says another dedicated team made up of officers from the K9 and Police Special Response Unit have been directed to arrest everyone involved.

The three aged 19-years allegedly residing at Rewa Street came in a vehicle armed, and were causing trouble in the area.

The suspects escaped in a getaway vehicle which was pursued by the Southern Division Operations Team and abandoned at Mawaraka Road off Sukanaivalu.

The (3) suspects were arrested shortly after and while 2 are in custody at the Samabula Police Station one is admitted at the CWM Hospital.

All efforts are being directed into arresting all those involved.
